What supporting Information will I need to provide?

SHOWING YOUR DROP IN TURNOVER

Compare any week of turnover in the lock down period turnover (31 July 2021 to 8 August 2021) with a comparable week in either the 2019 or 2020 years. This must include at least 1 full day of a lockdown event when comparing against turnover achieved in the same 7 day period in July or August of your comparison year.

You should save copies of the impacted period and the test period to show your turnover reduction and upload them if requested or have them on hand if requested down the track to prove your claim.

There are several options for evidence of your decrease in turnover:

Direct Impact – complete a declaration in your application or an

Indirect Impact – submit sales turnover information from your business records as set out above or rely on a dated letter on letterhead issued by us as your accountants confirming the drop in sales. See below.

HOW CAN WE HELP

If you select the indirect impact option, you may be required to get a letter from us confirming the 30 percent reduction in turnover calculation.  Please appreciate that this can be a time-consuming process and we need to resource this with additional staff hours. We will need to levy a small charge to cover the time associated with the process which will be discussed with you prior to any work being carried out.

TIMING OF PAYMENTS

The Minister is targeting payment within 2 weeks of the Approval of the Grant application.
